Call of Duty: Mobile players have something exciting to look forward to with the release of the new Mythic BP50 assault rifle. The weapon will be available in the Ion Pulse Mythic Drop starting July 4, 2024, at 5 PM PT. This addition is part of the latest Season 6 “Synthwave Showdown” update.
The BP50 is a highly anticipated weapon due to its previous appearances in other Call of Duty titles like Modern Warfare 2, Vanguard, and Modern Warfare III. Known for its high rate of fire and long-range capabilities, the BP50 will be a powerful addition to any player’s arsenal.
The BP50 is a bullpup assault rifle, meaning it has a shorter overall length while maintaining a long barrel, providing accuracy and power. The weapon will be available as a free tier reward at Tier 23 of the Season 6 Battle Pass. Additionally, there will be Epic and Mythic blueprints for players to unlock. The Mythic BP50, named Ion Eruption, will be available through the Ion Pulse Draw.
Players can unlock the BP50 by progressing through the Season 6 Battle Pass. By playing various game modes and earning Battle Pass XP, players will reach Tier 23, where they can claim the BP50 for free. For those seeking additional rewards, purchasing the premium Battle Pass will provide extra XP and access to the Epic blueprint for the BP50 at Tier 50.

The Season 6 “Synthwave Showdown” update brings a plethora of new content besides the BP50. Highlights include:
- New Multiplayer Map: Collateral Strike, a smaller version of the Black Ops Cold War map, offering intense combat in a desert village setting.
- Revive Battle Royale Class: This new class allows players to deploy a drone that revives downed teammates, adding a strategic element to Battle Royale matches.
- Combat Advisor System: This feature lets players form mentor-mentee relationships, complete challenges, and earn rewards together.
- Return of The Club: A social space with mini-games and music from Call of Duty: Mobile.
Lucky Draws and Prestige Store
Season 6 introduces several new lucky draws, including:
- Ion Pulse Draw: Featuring the Mythic BP50 – Ion Eruption and other exclusive items.
- Pop Idol Draw: Featuring the PP19 Bizon – Iconic and the KRM 262 – Loaded Glitch.
- Samurai’s Soul Series Armory Draw: Featuring the M13 – Risen Shadow.
Players who secure the top rewards from these draws will earn Prestige, allowing them to access exclusive weapon blueprints in the Prestige Store.
