Today, Rockstar Games released a thrilling new update for Grand Theft Auto Online, named “Bottom Dollar Bounties.” This update introduces a host of new features and activities for players, centering on bounty hunting across Los Santos and Blaine County. The update is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
In “Bottom Dollar Bounties,” players team up with Jenette, the daughter of Maude Eccles, a familiar character from GTA V. Maude, known for her bounty missions, is passing her legacy to Jenette, who now runs the bounty hunting operations. Players can purchase and customize their own Bail Enforcement Offices from five different locations, each offering unique styles and capabilities.
The new Bail Enforcement business allows players to hunt down high-value targets. Each day, a Most Wanted target will have a substantial bounty on their head, while three additional targets become available every hour. Players can secure these targets alive or dead and deliver them to the Los Santos County Coroner’s Office for cash rewards. Additionally, players can hire agents to handle some of the bounty hunting tasks, which helps speed up the process and increase earnings.
The update also adds a range of new vehicles, including law enforcement vehicles that can be used in new Freemode Dispatch Work missions provided by LSPD Officer Vincent Effenburger. These missions involve off-the-books tasks that players can access while driving their owned law enforcement vehicles. A variety of new cars, including the Burrito Bail Enforcement van, have been introduced to support these missions.

Alongside the bounty hunting and new vehicles, the “Bottom Dollar Bounties” update includes new Drift and Drag races available in the Rockstar Creator. Players can design and participate in custom races, enhancing the creative and competitive aspects of the game. Experience improvements and various gameplay tweaks have also been made to ensure a smoother and more engaging gaming experience.
Maude Eccles first appeared in Grand Theft Auto V as a stranger who assigned bounty missions to players. Her involvement in GTA Online follows a similar theme, where she provides players with missions to capture or kill specific targets for rewards. Her daughter Jenette now takes on this role, bringing a fresh dynamic to the bounty hunting business in the game.
